Bob the Drag Queen is one of the most accomplished and multifaceted performers to emerge from the RuPaul's Drag Race franchise. After being crowned the winner of Season 8 in 2016 — where he won three mainstage challenges and delivered iconic moments including the legendary "Purse First" runway walk — Bob has built a career spanning television, film, Broadway, music, podcasting, and activism. His co-hosting of HBO's groundbreaking series "We're Here" alongside Eureka O'Hara and Shangela earned a Peabody Award, two GLAAD Media Awards, and a Television Academy Honors recognition.
Beyond television, Bob is a powerhouse in comedy and live entertainment. He has released multiple stand-up specials including "This Is Wild" on Hulu, served as Master of Ceremonies for Madonna's global Celebration Tour, and in 2025 made his Broadway debut as Harold Zidler in Moulin Rouge! The Musical — becoming the first drag artist to lead that Broadway cast. Bob co-hosts the GLAAD Award-winning podcast "Sibling Rivalry" with Monet X Change and "Town Hall" with Peppermint.
Bob is also a New York Times bestselling author with the novel "Harriet Tubman: Live in Concert," a music artist with the EPs "Gay Barz" and "Gayer Barz," and a tireless activist who was arrested protesting for LGBTQ+ rights before ever appearing on Drag Race. He runs production company Purse First Studios and continues touring the world with his "This Is Wild!" comedy tour.
