Not long after theDolly Sisters, Hungarian-Americanidentical twindancers, retired, two Norwegian brothers took to the stage with their impersonation act of the famous actresses. Leif and Paal Roschberg made a name for themselves as drag queens all over Europe. In the early 1930s, the pair were working at the Ship Café in California. When film director Edmund Goulding saw their act, he instantly knew they would be perfect for his filmBlondie of the Follies(1932).
