Key West is one of Florida’s most LGBTQ-friendly spots and generally feels safe, especially around Duval Street, Old Town, and the historic district where queer nightlife is concentrated. You may notice a more mixed reception in the broader Keys outside Key West, but serious issues are uncommon in town.
