Pabllo Vittar, born Phabullo Rodrigues da Silva on November 1, 1993, in Sao Luis, Maranhao, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and drag performer widely regarded as one of the most commercially successful drag artists in music history. Raised in the Northeast before relocating to Sao Paulo to pursue music, Vittar built a following on YouTube with covers before releasing debut single Open Bar in 2015. Her breakthrough album Vai Passar Mal in 2017 fused tecnobrega, funk, and pop, yielding hits Todo Dia and Corpo Sensual featuring Mateus Carrilho. She became globally known for Sua Cara with Major Lazer and Anitta, which amassed hundreds of millions of streams. Subsequent albums Nao Para Nao (2018), 111 (2020), and Batidao Tropical (2021) cemented her status as a pop powerhouse blending Brazilian regional genres with global dance music. Vittar has collaborated with Charli XCX, Diplo, Sofi Tukker, and Kesha, and for several years held the title of most-followed drag queen on Instagram worldwide.
